SANTA FE, N.M., Oct. 15, 2026—There is an opening on the Santa Fe County Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy (ACCE) Council for a resident from Santa Fe County Commission District 4. The new member will be selected to ensure the Council reflects a wide range of expertise and experience in broadly recognized areas of arts, culture, and creative economy, including membership in established arts and culture endeavors, and professional practice as an artist from a broad range of disciplines.
Council members must reside within the boundaries of the County, outside the City of Santa Fe limits. You can find your County District using the Santa Fe County Commissioner District Map.
The ACCE Council was established by the Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners at its December 9, 2024, meeting via Resolution No. 2024-167. The Council has 11 voting members, two from each Commission District and one at-large member identified by staff and appointed by the Board. Council meetings are held monthly, and appointees must complete a conflict-of-interest form and comply with the County’s Code of Conduct.
The mission of the Council is to identify, cultivate, and invest in individuals and communities to strengthen the arts, culture, and creative economy of Santa Fe County, honoring existing and future generations. The Council recently completed a strategic five-year plan for arts programming and funding for the County with a one-year plan that lays the foundation for future opportunities.
