FORT MYERS, FL, UNITED STATES, September 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- RCO Cash for Cars expands direct recycler relationships nationwide as its long-standing Peddle partnership concludes and its operating model evolves.

RCO Cash for Cars, a nationwide direct vehicle purchasing company operating since 2005, announced that it is expanding its network of licensed automotive recycling facilities throughout the United States.

The expansion follows the conclusion of RCO’s nearly 10-year business relationship with Peddle, which had served as a supplemental disposition resource for certain vehicles and geographic markets.

According to RCO, the relationship concluded amicably as the operating needs of the two companies evolved.

“We appreciate the relationship we had with Peddle over nearly 10 years and the role their infrastructure played in our business,” said Ralph Milone of RCO Cash for Cars. “Our focus now is on continuing to expand our own network of licensed automotive recycling facilities nationwide.”

RCO has operated as a direct vehicle buyer since its founding in New York in 2005. Consumers sell their vehicles directly to RCO, which purchases cars, trucks, SUVs and vans in a wide range of conditions.

The company purchases used vehicles as well as damaged, crashed, junk, scrap and end-of-life vehicles in markets throughout the United States.

For junk, scrap and end-of-life vehicles, RCO works with licensed automotive recycling affiliates that can provide pickup and final processing after RCO purchases the vehicle from the consumer.

Over the past several weeks, RCO has increased the number of recycling facilities it works with directly and is now seeking additional facilities in markets where it wants to increase coverage.

“When a recycling relationship is established in a market, RCO can purchase the vehicle directly from the consumer and coordinate pickup and final disposition with the facility,” Milone said. “We are now looking to establish more of those relationships throughout the country.”

Expanding Direct Recycling Coverage

RCO said the expansion is focused specifically on licensed facilities that physically process and recycle junk, scrap and end-of-life vehicles.

The company is not seeking brokers or general vehicle resellers for this portion of its network.

RCO is interested in establishing long-term relationships with automotive recycling facilities capable of handling consistent vehicle volume within their local and regional service areas.

“We generate vehicle opportunities in markets across the country,” Milone said. “Some areas already have strong direct coverage for us, while others represent an opportunity to establish additional recycler relationships.”

The company said its expanding network is intended to provide additional pickup and processing options for vehicles purchased by RCO that have reached the end of their useful road life or are otherwise appropriate for automotive recycling.

Direct communication with recycling affiliates also allows RCO to coordinate service areas, pickup capabilities, local vehicle values, processing requirements and available capacity on a market-by-market basis.

RCO Remains the Direct Vehicle Buyer

RCO emphasized that the expanded recycler network does not change the company’s role in the consumer transaction.

Vehicle owners continue to sell directly to RCO Cash for Cars. Recycling affiliates are used specifically to assist with pickup and final processing for qualifying junk, scrap and end-of-life vehicles after RCO has purchased them.

“RCO remains the purchaser of the vehicle,” Milone said. “Our recycling partners provide an important downstream service by helping us pick up and process vehicles that are destined for recycling.”

Vehicles that are not intended for recycling continue to be handled through RCO’s other established acquisition and disposition channels.

Experienced Operator Assistance Remains Central to RCO’s Customer Experience

As RCO expands its nationwide footprint, the company said direct customer service will remain an important part of its vehicle acquisition process.

RCO uses technology to support online inquiries, quoting, follow-up and transaction processing while continuing to provide consumers with access to experienced operators when direct assistance is needed.

According to the company, RCO personnel work with vehicle sellers on a range of transactions that can involve damaged vehicles, financed vehicles, title and lien questions, unusual vehicle conditions and differences in local vehicle markets.

“Customer experience has always been central to our business and continues to be a major part of our success,” Milone said. “Technology helps us operate efficiently, but experienced people are still important when a customer has questions or when a transaction requires judgment beyond a standard online quote.”

RCO said its operators are expected to understand vehicle values and market conditions and to communicate directly with customers throughout transactions that may require additional review.

The company said it plans to continue combining direct operator assistance with technology as it expands both its consumer operations and its recycling network.

Seeking Automotive Recycling Facilities Nationwide

RCO is currently identifying additional licensed automotive recycling facilities in markets throughout the United States.

Facilities interested in working with RCO should be capable of physically processing end-of-life vehicles and providing reliable pickup service within defined geographic areas.

The company is particularly interested in establishing ongoing relationships with facilities capable of accommodating consistent junk and scrap vehicle volume.

“We are looking for established recycling facilities that want to develop a direct, long-term working relationship with RCO,” Milone said. “As we continue expanding coverage, these partnerships will remain an important part of our junk and scrap vehicle operations.”

Automotive recycling facilities interested in discussing a relationship with RCO are encouraged to contact the company directly.
